Why Verizon Su- Er, I mean Stinks.

Okay, there are several things that tick me off about Verizon.

1. They stole a saying from Apple. Kinda.
Apple

Verizon

2. They made fun of the iPhone.
(The island of misfit toys commercial.)

3. We met a guy who used to work for Alltel. He was doing fine and doing a good job, but then Verizon bought Alltel. And he planned on staying there until they completely ignored his good business suggestions. (Can't remember what they were, just remember they were much wiser than Verizon's ideas.) So, he quit, and lost a job in the process.

4. We heard recently that a similar person wanted to get a job at another company. So Verizon denied his freedom to choose a job by filing a restraining order against him. The courts judged in his favor, but still.

Good gracious Verizon is ticking the heck outta me.
It might be that they give better service than AT&T, but at least AT&T isn't full of stuck-up jerks. (Well, they're like that here, anyway.)

I like Apple

No offence, but that's the way buissness goes. AT&T did it to them to, so it's a win/win thing going on. It's like FIOS and IO. IO finnally got tired of them and went and made thoose commercills too. In my oppion, I would NEVER get anything Apple if it wasn't for I-pods. They are over priced when you can get the exact same thing with a slower price at Windows or something. And the I-phones have alot of problums...

I mean, Don't get me wrong, Verizon gets great service, but this time they went a little too for, even for business matters. Those insulting commercials are the wy of business, but like you said about the guy who wanted to switch jobs, I that that went went a little too for. You know what I mean here?

Living in America, we have the right to choose what job we want, when we want it. (Unless we're under contract. Which this guy wasn't.)

Actually, they didn't even give his old job back. (Or rather, they didn't offer it.)
The forced him from GETTING a new job at all.
I have to say I agree sometimes on that last sentence...
Ah well, I guess all I can do about it is never use Verizon.

I like Apple but don't like A t & t and that is what you use with the iPhone.

I know. I don't like AT&T either...
But I'm certainly not doing Verizon.

You can jailbreak the iPhone, you know... Then you can use any service. (So I've heard in the Mac Life magazine, a year or so ago. They have newer versions now...)

Lol. Tvo and IO's are cool. Even though I never use TVo's. Lol. You can have some cool phones but thats all you'll ever be!

I extremely dislike IO. They got rid of HGTV. (The Home Renovation/Moving Channel.)
I called the like 15 times the night they were getting rid of it, but their line was busy. >=(

I still have HGTV and I have IO. That's so wierd.

Well, I actually learned recently, it was scripts, who runs HGTV & Food Network, wanted to make IO pay more for these channels then other companies (Fios for instance.) They wanted triple the amount IO was already paying (or somthing like that.) IO would have to triple what their customers pay to get these channels. If you find the number for the guy who runs scripts, CALL HIM! Demand he puts it back on!

Yeah. I know what you mean. I spent 10 minutes watching HGTV and FoodNetwork trying to figure out what the heck was going on with my TV. Lol, I know what you mean now!
